The Team
The people that make up the team here at the R.K. Group are highly skilled and dedicated individuals.
The team has been assembled over the past 25 years and it is a testament to the company and the individuals when we can state that the MD and two members of the team have worked together for over 35 years in the design and print business... and 25 of those years at R.K.Group.
Most of our team members have been with the company for over 5 years and that means stability, product & company knowledge, consistency and the development of a long standing relationships between our clients and our team.
Having a group of people working closely together as a team in harmony is not always easy to achieve and in some cases impossible… however we feel that we have a great team spirit and a great team of people who have all the required and vital elements for teamwork on a daily basis... we have a group of people who actually enjoying working together and working for each other.
In our business it is quite simply a team effort from the MD to administration, the studio to print and from finishing to delivery all departments have their role to play in ensuring our clients receive the very best product and services... our team is the best!
Managing Director & Company founder… Roger Knight (RK) formed the company in 1985 after working as an apprentice, then tradesman for a printing company for over 13 years. During that time he studied at London College of Printing, Maidstone College of Printing and Medway College of Design for over 5 years.

Office Manager… Angela Duran has worked with the company for 13 years and assures the MD she will not be leaving... ever!!! Angela controls the everyday office including overseeing Accounts and Payroll. She has also built up a close working relationship with many of our clients. She also holds the most important job of ensuring that the MD gets his cuppa!!!
Design & Production Director… David Sprenger is one of the old boys. Having worked with RK from the early apprentice years Dave knows 'RK' better than most and knows his exacting standards... those standards that set the R.K.Group apart from others. Dave has worked for the company as studio manager for many years but now his role has taken him to oversee the production areas of the company. Dave's role also sees him dealing directly with our clients in areas of design and production.
Production Manager ... Fern Parnell. Starting as our receptionist 4 years ago Fern has proved to be an excellent administrator and has now taken on the massively important role of production manager. Working directly with our clients, our studio and our production she organises and schedules all production. She also assists in that most important of jobs - ensuring that the MD gets his cuppa!!!
RK Signs Production Manager… Duncan Spain. When forming the sign company we needed a skilled and reliable base to start from, Duncan gave us both the skills and reliability but much more. The eagerness to develop the company and expand has seen the company grow and prosper over the past 10 years of Duncan's involvement. Working closely with 'RK' we intend to develop the company further.
RK Signs Accounts Manager… Mark Griffiths. When expansion was considered 3 years ago we needed to look no further than Mark, he brought with him great account management skills and the ability to help grow the client base. Working with Duncan and RK, Mark has helped the company double in size and turnover.
The hardest worker in the place… Alfred Knight. 85 year old father of RK and probably the reason why RK started the business in the first place... Alf always told his son that he wanted his own business and had tried many years ago but fate wasn't on his side. When RK decided to go it alone it was Alf that insisted on giving him the support he needed to help get the business started... thanks DAD you are the best!
For obvious reasons we cannot mention all our staff but please be assured they all play a very important part and contribute immeasurably to the production and service we give... most of all the teamwork we have!
Teamwork - Simply stated, together we achieve so much more! Coming together is the beginning... staying together is progress... working together is success.
